Healthcare Hits the Road With Wellspect’s Exhibition Vehicle

For healthcare professionals, finding time and space for training can be a challenge. So, rather than asking nurses to travel to a dedicated training venue, Wellspect took the training to them. The result was a purpose-built exhibition vehicle that travelled to hospitals across the UK – serving as a practical space where professionals could develop their skills in bladder and bowel care.

Here’s a video of Wellspect’s mobile training unit in action!

Who are Wellspect?

With more than 1,000 employees in 18 countries, Wellspect is one of the leading names in bladder and bowel dysfunction. The company provides medical devices that support everyday care, while helping those in the field give patients the services they need.

Alongside its products, Wellspect delivers education and training so healthcare professionals are both aware of the options and able to use them in a real-life setting.

What did Wellspect want?

Wellspect wanted to make its specialist NHS training more accessible.

The goal? To bring a learning environment to hospitals nationwide.

As part of its roadshow, the team planned a series of sessions focused on bladder and bowel care. To make this possible, they needed a mobile training unit for group learning.

This would need to be welcoming yet clinical, giving nurses a comfortable place to discover the latest treatments and technologies. It would also have to be modern and reliable, making stops in Birmingham, Leeds and Norwich to deliver on-the-go training.

How did Promohire help?

Promohire wrapped and fully customised a large exhibition vehicle, creating a professional space for training, conversations, and discovery.

The exterior was finished with Wellspect messaging and NHS colours – ensuring a premium look that delivered a strong presence outside each hospital. Inside, the layout was designed around practical learning.

The custom build included:

  • A fully working kitchen area

  • A station for product demonstrations

  • A digital screen to support training

  • Comfortable seating for multiple nurses

  • Interior lighting for a bright environment

  • Positive messaging to reinforce the brand

This mobile training unit also swung open to reveal more Wellspect branding, while an awning created an outdoor waiting space to protect learners in the summer heat.

As well as getting the promotional vehicle ready for the road, we handled the logistics and setup throughout the campaign. This ensured the unit arrived at each hospital prepared for the day ahead, so Wellspect could focus on the task at hand.

What were the results?

Our exhibition vehicle gave Wellspect the healthcare roadshow setup they needed taske training further than before. Even better, it empowered NHS nurses to build their knowledge on bladder and bowel care – all without heading to an external venue.

This made clinical education both more accessible and convenient, and provided Wellspect with a flexible (and meaningful) way to connect with nurses.

The roadshow proves that a custom setup, housed inside a branded exhibition vehicle, can do more than just showcase products. It can also deliver a hands-on experience that supports learning.
