My Money Matters is an award-winning financial wellbeing platform. They help local government, NHS, and private sector workers with their financial decisions, and advise on everything from budgeting to mortgages and estate planning.
But unlike other financial brands, they know the value of a live campaign and take an educational approach to what they do. Promotional campaigns, blogs, webinars and coaching sessions allow them to reach a wide audience, both in person and online!
The finance company wanted to go the extra mile for Pension Awareness Week. The goal was to promote the brand’s financial services and encourage council workers to think about how they’ll save for retirement.
My Money Matters decided on a promotional ice cream van, along with artisanal ice cream samples, available in many fun flavours. This would help their educational event draw the crowds and get people talking!
Our team wrapped a Ford Transit ice cream van in the company’s branding colours. The wrap included the My Money Matters logo and a QR code that guests could scan to learn more, while the inside featured a soft scoop machine and eco-friendly lithium battery – ideal for running eco-friendly campaigns.
But we didn’t stop there! Promohire provided a range of ice cream samples, ranging from vegan lemon sorbet to raspberry ripple. These were stored safely on our premises and transported with the vehicle in time for the brand activation. We also sent two ice cream specialists to ensure the free treats came out perfectly every time.
An A-board displayed the various ice cream names, like ‘mango master your money’ and ‘choc-it in your pension’, and we created custom tubs to keep everything on-brand.
Finally, our expert videographer went along to capture this educational event’s best moments – all to be shared on My Money Matters’ social media platforms.
With many great conversations and a number of meaningful sign-ups, this awareness campaign achieved exactly what My Money Matters envisioned.
